Pine, Cypress & Bay
Every year I hold a wreath making workshop from my home. It is something I used to do with my mother, then a few close friends, then it grew. Although my ‘free’ time has become more precious, I still like to hold at least one workshop with friends. It is a moment of peace in a crazy busy season. I like to go out on the farm with my family and gather foliage for the event, taking a moment to appreciate our surroundings and breathe in the crisp air. I get to switch off and create something beautiful for our home, catching up with friends, and then spend time dressing the house for the season. I simply love the aroma nature has to offer and often reach for aromatic foliage, such as fresh rosemary, eucalyptus, cypress and pine, warm, spicy clove, cinnamon and bay – plus zesty oranges and limes. The aroma welcomes you as you walk through the front door, and you instantly feel the joy of the season.
It is this moment that I wanted to capture in our new fragrance, Cypress, Pine & Bay. An escape from the bustle, a quiet moment in time. A celebration of tranquil forests and the botanicals gathered to adorn our homes during the festive season. Fireside garlands, entwined staircases, and sumptuous wreaths, with crisp aromatic notes of pine, cypress, eucalyptus, lime, clove & bay.
It is the perfect addition to our Christmas fragrance Collection. Frankincense, Cinnamon & Sweet Orange celebrates the joy of baking, mulled wine, warm spices and the gathering of friends with seasonal cheer. Cypress, Pine & Bay brings peace, stillness and calm - like Christmas morning, before the household awakes.
